In August 1995, AFE hosted the Cliff Levingston All Star Celebrity Basketball Classic and organized a weekend of festivities surrounding the game. More than 6500 fans attended and watched some of the NBA’s most exciting all-stars play basketball, while raising money for AFE’s physical activity programs. The proceeds from this weekend helped make a difference in the lives of many San Diego youth and their families.
Athletes including Jason Kidd, Tracy Murray and Cedric Ceballos enjoyed visiting San Diego, but most important to them was the opportunity to visit with children and see the beautiful smiles on their faces. A reward for all involved...
